The standard PGI-650BK yields 375 pages, while the PGI-650XLBK delivers 620 pages - both figures at 5% coverage on A4. A PGI-655XXLB extra high yield genuine cartridge is also available for higher-volume black printing. On the CLI-651 side, standard colour cartridges yield 319–344 pages each; the XL colour cartridges reach 680–700 pages each. The CLI-651XLB photo black genuine cartridge yields 5,530 pages. Grey is available in both standard and XL and is used by the photo-capable models in this printer range for extended tonal output in monochrome and portrait printing.
