At Ink Depot we charge a flat rate of $6.95 for all of your orders under $99. All of your orders over $99 are shipped for free with the exception of some bulky products requiring special handling e.g. needing a forklift or two people to be taken off the delivery vehicle. These bulky items will incur an additional $49 shipping fee. (All amounts include GST.)
Shipping bulky products interstate is expensive. These products will have a stock status in the shop of "Please Call". For these products you can either wait for the product to come back in stock in your state's closest depot, or our Customer Service team will discuss your delivery options with you and the possibility of paying an additional delivery charge.
We usually ship all of your orders within 24 hours of payment, unless the items are out of stock. Whilst 98% of the products advertised are held in stock, occasionally items for older style printers need to be ordered in. If your ordered items are out of stock we will send you an email message within 24 hours to notify you. The email will outline the estimated delivery date and provide you with the options of replacing the item, waiting for delivery or a full refund. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
We deliver Australia Wide and use couriers for all items shipped. We strive to use the most efficient and reliable courier for your location rather than a one size fits all approach. Delivery times vary depending on the shipping method selected and the delivery address. As a general guide deliveries to major cities will take 1 to 2 business days whilst it could take up to 5 business days for more remote areas. PO Box deliveries may experience slightly longer delivery times.
Delivery Options Available.
The default and preferred delivery option for goods over $250 may require a signature on delivery. We understand that this can be difficult at times but it is necessary to protect the goods you have ordered and provides confirmation that the order has been received. Deliveries can occur between 7am and 6pm weekdays. We can deliver to a business address during normal business hours. There are options during the checkout process to add instructions for delivery, such as best times and days to deliver. If a delivery cannot be made, Australia Post and couriers will leave you a note to make another appointment to deliver or inform you that they have delivered the goods to your nearest Post Office. Due to changes in courier processes from Covid-19, orders may sometimes be delivered without a signature. Customers are responsible for any additional delivery fees which may be incurred due to failed delivery attempts.
We can deliver small orders under $250 and under 3kg in weight to a PO Box address. Your goods must be able to fit into an airbag. A signature is not usually required for PO Box deliveries.
We do offer an 'Authority to Leave' delivery option for orders under $250. The couriers will leave the goods on your front door step without a signature unless an alternative location is provided in the delivery instructions. When an 'Authority to Leave' is selected we take no responsibility for the order once it has been left by the courier. The goods are left at your own risk.
