HP 63 Ink & HP 63XL Ink Cartridges
HP 63 and 63XL ink cartridges fit printers across three HP families sold in Australia: the DeskJet 1110, 2130, 2132, 3630, 3632, and 3634; the ENVY 4510, 4512, 4513, 4516, 4520, 4522, 4523, and 4524; and the OfficeJet 3830, 3831, 3833, and 4650. Each printer takes two cartridges: black and tri-colour.
Two yield tiers are available. The standard 63 black (F6U62AA) yields approximately 190 pages and the standard tri-colour (F6U61AA) yields approximately 165 pages. The 63XL black (F6U64AA) yields approximately 480 pages - more than double the standard black - while the 63XL tri-colour (F6U63AA) yields approximately 330 pages. For any household or home office printing weekly, the 63XL delivers a noticeably lower cost per page despite the higher upfront price.
Both genuine HP and compatible cartridges are stocked as singles and in bundle packs. Under Australian Consumer Law, using compatible cartridges does not void your HP printer warranty. Metro orders over $99 receive free delivery - a small fee applies to rural and regional postcodes. See the shipping page for details. Browse the full HP ink cartridges range or explore HP printers.

What is the difference between HP 63 and HP 63XL ink cartridges?
The standard 63 black (F6U62AA) yields approximately 190 pages and the standard tri-colour (F6U61AA) yields approximately 165 pages. The 63XL black (F6U64AA) yields approximately 480 pages and the 63XL tri-colour (F6U63AA) yields approximately 330 pages. For regular home or office printing, the XL cartridges reduce how often you swap ink and bring cost per page down considerably compared to the standard yield.
Are compatible HP 63 and 63XL cartridges safe to use in my printer?
Compatible 63 and 63XL cartridges are manufactured to the same output specifications as genuine HP cartridges. Under Australian Consumer Law, HP cannot void your printer warranty solely because you used compatible consumables. If your printer has received a recent firmware update, check that compatible cartridges include an updated chip to maintain printer recognition.
