HP 206A and 206X toner cartridges fit four printers - the Color LaserJet Pro M255dw, M282nw, M283fdn and M283fdw. The 206A standard yield series covers W2110A (black), W2111A (cyan), W2113A (magenta) and W2112A (yellow); the 206X high yield series covers W2110X (black), W2111X (cyan), W2113X (magenta) and W2112X (yellow). Compatible cartridges are available for both series as singles, 5-packs and 10-packs. Genuine cartridges are available as singles, 4-packs and 8-packs for 206A, and singles and 4-packs for 206X.
At standard yield, W2110A (206A black) prints 1,350 pages and W2111A (206A cyan), W2113A (206A magenta) and W2112A (206A yellow) each print 1,250 pages — black runs slightly longer than colour even within the same tier. At high yield, W2110X (206X black) prints 3,150 pages while W2111X (206X cyan), W2113X (206X magenta) and W2112X (206X yellow) each print 2,450 pages. The 206X high yield black cartridge delivers more than double the output of the 206A black, making it the more cost-effective choice for offices printing black-heavy documents regularly. Colour output also roughly doubles from 206A to 206X, so the choice between tiers comes down to print volume and how often you want to change cartridges.
