Brother PT-2430PC Label Tape

Tape Length and Replacement Planning

Brother TZe tape cassettes supplied for the Brother PT-2430PC contain varying tape lengths depending on the material and tape construction. Standard laminated TZe cassettes contain 8 metres of continuous tape, providing substantial output for everyday office and asset labelling. Speciality tapes, such as fabric iron-on tapes (TZe-FA) and STe stencil tapes, contain 3 metres per cassette, while ribbon tapes (TZe-R) contain 4 metres. Selecting multipacks or bundle options helps ensure you have spare tape on hand when working on larger organisation projects.

Choosing the Right Tape Width and Material

The Brother PT-2430PC supports tape widths of 6mm, 9mm, 12mm, 18mm, and 24mm, allowing you to tailor your labels to specific applications. Standard laminated TZe tape features a protective top layer that resists water, chemical exposure, fading, and abrasion, making it suitable for indoor and outdoor use. For curved surfaces or cable wrapping, flexible ID tape (TZe-FX) bends cleanly without lifting at the edges. Surfaces such as textured plastics, powder-coated metals, or rough storage bins benefit from strong adhesive tape (TZe-S), which provides significantly higher bonding strength than standard adhesive. For security marking, tamper-evident tape (TZe-SE) leaves a distinct pattern if removed.

Ordering Tape for Everyday Labelling and Australian Delivery

Selecting the correct tape cassette width and finish depends on your labelling task. Narrower 6mm or 9mm tapes suit binder spines, slide trays, and narrow shelf rims, while 18mm and 24mm tapes accommodate multi-line text, barcodes, and larger warning headers. Ordering multi-cassette bundles offers a practical way to maintain stock for high-volume office archiving or technical labelling. All purchases are backed by our returns policy. Pro Tip: Matching Tape Adhesive to Surface Texture

Standard TZe tape adheres effectively to smooth, flat surfaces like glass, flat plastic, and finished metal. If you are labelling molded plastic storage crates, powder-coated server racks, or textured equipment casings, choose a strong adhesive cassette such as TZe-S231 or TZe-S241 to prevent peeling over time.
