Brother PT-D450 Label Tape
Your Brother PT-D450 uses genuine Brother TZe label tape cassettes across a wide selection of widths and colours. This desktop labeller is suited to office organisation, filing, cable identification and equipment management. Standard laminated options like TZe-231 suit flat surface labelling, while extra-strength TZe-S231 and flexible TZe-FX231 cassettes cater to textured or curved surfaces. Consumables for this label printer have been available from Ink Depot since Mar 2015. Australian customers rate Ink Depot 4.8 on Google.
Tape Length and Continuous Output Planning
Genuine Brother TZe label cassettes supply continuous tape, allowing you to print custom label lengths up to the maximum width supported by your Brother PT-D450. Standard TZe cassettes contain 8 metres of laminated tape, providing dozens of labels depending on your text length and margins. Speciality cassettes, such as fabric iron-on TZe-FA3 or ribbon tapes, supply tailored lengths for specialized identification needs.
Selecting TZe Tape Cassettes for the Application
The Brother PT-D450 supports several distinct TZe tape variations engineered for specific surfaces and environmental conditions:
- Standard Laminated TZe Tape (such as TZe-231 or TZe-131): Designed for everyday indoor filing, storage containers, and smooth flat surfaces.
- Strong Adhesive TZe-S Tape (such as TZe-S231 or TZe-S631): Formulated with enhanced stickiness for textured plastic, powder-coated metals, or rough surfaces.
- Flexible ID TZe-FX Tape (such as TZe-FX231 or TZe-FX241): Engineered to wrap securely around cables, wires, and curved tubing without flagging.
- Security Tamper-Evident Tape (TZe-SE4): Leaves a checkered pattern if removed, making it ideal for asset tracking and anti-tamper labelling.
