Ricoh IM C6000 Toner Cartridges
Shop toner cartridges for your Ricoh IM C6000, which uses the Ricoh 842287-842290 toner cartridge series along with the 418425 waste toner bottle. Ink Depot has been supplying reliable consumables for this printer since Jun 2024. High-volume document creation depletes 842287 black toner far faster than colour units, while full set replacements maintain print consistency across multi-user environments. Our 4.8 Google rating reflects a long-standing track record of premium cartridge performance.
Expected Page Output and Replacement Cycles
Page yields for Ricoh IM C6000 toner cartridges are measured in accordance with ISO/IEC 19798 standard testing at 5% coverage per A4 page. High-coverage graphics or dense document printing will reduce actual output.
| Cartridge Number | Type | Colour | Page Yield | Cost Per Page |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 842287 | Standard | Black | 33,000 | $0.004 |
| 842290 | Standard | Cyan | 22,000 | $0.014 |
| 842289 | Standard | Magenta | 22,000 | $0.014 |
| 842288 | Standard | Yellow | 22,000 | $0.014 |
Cost Per Page = Total Cartridge Price ÷ Page Yield (at 5% coverage). Prices based on Genuine cartridges.
Waste Toner Collection
The Ricoh 418425 waste toner bottle collects excess toner during automatic cleaning cycles and high-speed print operations. Rated for up to 100,000 pages, this component typically outlasts three complete sets of high-yield toner cartridges before needing replacement.
Experience Tip: The 418425 waste toner collector has a rated capacity of 100,000 pages and operates independently from the main toner cartridges.
Managing High-Volume Replacement Sets
For standard commercial document production, maintaining spare 842287 black toner avoids unexpected downtime, as mono text output runs out faster than colour. Ordering complete 842287-842290 multipacks ensures all four colours balance evenly across high-run graphic print jobs. For details regarding returns and exchanges, view our returns policy. Pro Tip
High-volume A3 printing depletes cyan, magenta, and yellow toner at varied rates depending on corporate artwork profiles, so tracking individual colour levels prevents uneven stock shortages when replacing 842288, 842289, and 842290 cartridges.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does full-bleed A3 printing impact the yield of Ricoh 842287-842290 toner cartridges?
Standard ISO/IEC 19798 yield specifications are calculated on A4 sheets with 5% page coverage. Printing full-bleed A3 pages or marketing collateral with heavy background shading increases toner consumption per page significantly, reducing total expected page output below the rated 33,000 black and 22,000 colour sheet benchmarks.
Does the Ricoh IM C6000 stop printing immediately when the 418425 waste toner bottle fills up?
Yes, once the sensor indicates the 418425 waste toner collection unit is full at its 100,000-page limit, the printer halts operational output to prevent internal overflow. Keeping a replacement waste toner container on hand avoids unexpected pauses in departmental workflow.
Can I replace individual 842288, 842289, or 842290 colour cartridges independently as they empty?
Yes, each toner bottle operates in an independent slot. You do not need to replace all four cartridges simultaneously, allowing you to swap individual colour units only when depleted.
