Frequently Asked Questions
How does the 100XL high-yield cartridge compare to standard Lexmark 100 cartridges?
The 100XL high-yield cartridge fits into the exact same physical slot inside the Lexmark PRO901 printer as the standard 100 cartridge, but contains significantly more ink, yielding up to 510 pages for lower per-page expenses.
Will using a compatible 14N1068A cartridge cause ink level tracking issues on the Lexmark PRO901?
Quality compatible 100XL cartridges are equipped with updated microchips that communicate accurately with the Lexmark PRO901 control panel, ensuring reliable on-screen ink level monitoring without error prompts.
What causes variation in actual page output compared to the 510-page rating on 100XL cartridges?
The standard 510-page rating is based on 5% page coverage under ISO testing. Printing high-density text, graphics, or frequent single-page jobs uses more ink per page, which reduces the total page count before replacement.
