Canon Laser Shot LBP 7680CX Toner Cartridges

Ink Depot has been supplying reliable consumables for this printer since Feb 2012. Our 4.8 Google rating reflects a long-standing track record of premium cartridge performance. Replacing individual CART318 colour toners as they deplete ensures your office maintains clear text output and vibrant colour charts without unnecessary supply downtime.
CART318 Toner Output & Expected Yields
Page yields for CART318 toner cartridges are measured using ISO/IEC 19798 coverage standards. Standard office printing yields up to 3,100 pages for black (CART318B) and 2,400 pages for cyan, magenta, and yellow. Actual mileage varies according to document coverage, graphic density, and print frequency.

Pro Tip
Colour laser printers monitor each CART318 toner level individually. Replacing only the depleted toner cartridge rather than replacing all colours together prevents wasting usable toner in remaining channels.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why does the CART318 black toner have a higher page yield than the colour toners?
Standard office workflow involves significantly more black text printing than colour graphics, so the CART318B black cartridge is manufactured with a larger toner capacity (3,100 pages) compared to the 2,400-page capacity of the CART318 colour cartridges.
What happens if one CART318 colour cartridge runs out completely during a print job?
The Canon Laser shot LBP 7680CX requires all four CART318 toner cartridges (Black, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow) to be installed and recognised with sufficient toner levels to operate. If a single colour toner is exhausted, colour and mono printing will pause until that cartridge is replaced.
Are all four CART318 toner cartridges installed in the same tray?
Yes, the LBP 7680CX features a front-loading drawer system where CART318B, CART318C, CART318M, and CART318Y sit side-by-side in designated colour-coded slots, allowing quick single-cartridge swaps without disturbing the rest of the supply assembly.
