Sharp MX-3111 Toner Cartridges
Shop toner cartridges for your Sharp MX-3111, which uses the Sharp MX-23GT toner cartridges series. Ink Depot has been supplying reliable consumables for this A3 colour multifunction printer since Oct 2023. Our 4.8 Google rating proves it: we consistently supply premium cartridges backed by rock-solid reliability. Heavy document printing depletes black toner (MX-23GT-BA) far quicker than colour cartridges (MX-23GT-CA, MX-23GT-MA, MX-23GT-YA), so stocking up on black ensures uninterrupted workflow in high-volume offices.
Expected page output and replacement cycles
Page yields for Sharp MX-23GT cartridges are measured in accordance with the ISO/IEC 19798 testing standard for colour laser printing. The black toner cartridge yields up to 18,000 pages, while cyan, magenta, and yellow cartridges each offer 10,000 pages under standard 5% coverage conditions.

What to know about compatible cartridges
Our compatible Sharp MX-23GT toner cartridges are manufactured to match the performance and output of original supplies. Under Australian Consumer Law, using compatible cartridges does not void your printer warranty. Read our guide on genuine vs compatible cartridges to understand how compatible alternatives deliver reliable office printing without compromising print quality.
Choosing the right cartridge setup
If you print mainly text documents and invoicing, keeping additional MX-23GT-BA black toners on hand avoids sudden downtime. If you print colour graphics or presentations, purchasing bundled set options balances your CMYK toner levels evenly. All compatible toners include a money-back guarantee should any issue arise; see our returns policy for details. We ship fast from warehouses in Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide. Free delivery applies on all orders over $99. Browse our complete range of Sharp toner cartridges to suit your printing requirements.
Pro Tip
Always replace colour toners (MX-23GT-CA, MX-23GT-MA, MX-23GT-YA) when the printer signals low levels, as colour laser printers continue to use minor amounts of colour toner during calibration cycles to maintain internal operational accuracy.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I install individual MX-23GT colour toners separately, or do all colours need replacing together?
You can replace each MX-23GT cartridge individually as it empties. The Sharp MX-3111 tracks toner levels independently per colour channel, so replacing a single depleted cyan (MX-23GT-CA) cartridge will not affect the remaining life of magenta or yellow cartridges.
Why does the MX-23GT black toner cartridge have a significantly higher page yield than the colour toners?
Office workflow analysis shows monochrome text printing accounts for roughly 60% to 70% of total print output on multifunction printers. Sharp designed the MX-23GT-BA black cartridge with an 18,000-page capacity versus 10,000 pages for CMYK colours to ensure all four toners deplete at roughly synchronised intervals during standard general office use.
How does toner coverage percentage affect actual page yield on the Sharp MX-3111?
Rated page yields are calculated based on 5% page coverage (typical short business letters). If your office regularly prints full-page colour brochures or heavy graphics with 20% to 30% coverage, your actual page yield per MX-23GT cartridge will proportionally decrease to roughly a third of the rated capacity.
