Frequently Asked Questions
Why does the MX-23GT-BA black toner have a higher yield than the colour cartridges?
Standard office workflows rely more heavily on text and monochrome document printing. The 18,000-page black yield aligns replacement schedules closer to the 10,000-page cyan, magenta, and yellow cartridges, minimizing separate maintenance interruptions.
Can I replace individual MX-23GT colour cartridges as they run out?
You can replace each MX-23GT cartridge individually. The printer monitors each colour channel independently, so you only need to swap a specific cartridge when its toner level drops.
How should replacement MX-23GT toner cartridges be stored prior to installation?
Keep unopened toners sealed in their original protective packaging, stored horizontally in a cool, dry place away from direct light to protect the internal toner formulation and seals.
