Frequently Asked Questions
How does colour depletion affect printing on the Ricoh IM C300F when one toner is empty?
The Ricoh IM C300F requires all four toner cartridges (842386 black, 842387 cyan, 842388 magenta, 842389 yellow) to contain usable toner. If any single toner cartridge runs completely empty, the printer will pause all print jobs-including black text prints-to safeguard the internal imaging system.
What standard page yield can I expect from 842386 to 842389 toner cartridges?
Each cartridge in the Ricoh 842386-842389 series delivers approximately 2,000 pages based on standard 5% coverage per A4 page. Heavy graphic printing, dark background coverage, or printing dense multi-page documents will consume toner faster than standard business letters.
Is it better to buy single 842386-842389 cartridges or complete multipacks?
Multipacks are ideal for busy workplace environments because cyan, magenta, and yellow cartridges generally wear down at a balanced rate during colour document printing. Buying a full set ensures all necessary replacement colours are immediately available, avoiding separate shipping wait times.
