OKI MC860 Toner Cartridges
Shop toner cartridges for your OKI MC860, which uses the OKI 43449707 toner cartridge series along with 43449707 transfer belt units, 43529407 fuser units, and 44064033-36 drum units. Ink Depot has been supplying reliable consumables for this printer since Feb 2010. The OKI MC860 is an A3 colour multifunction laser printer built for demanding office environments requiring flexible media handling and heavy document output. Our 4.8 Google rating reflects a long-standing track record of premium cartridge performance. Replacing individual colour drums only as they expire keeps printing costs balanced during high-volume print runs.
Expected Page Output and Replacement Cycles
Toner yield for the OKI MC860 is measured using standardised ISO/IEC 19798 coverage testing for colour laser printers. High-volume office printing depletes Black toner faster during day-to-day document creation, while colour toners wear predictably depending on graphic content.
Drum Units, Fuser and Transfer Assemblies
The OKI MC860 uses separate image drum units for Black (44064036), Cyan (44064035), Magenta (44064034), and Yellow (44064033), each rated for up to 20,000 pages. Long-life maintenance components include the 43449707 transfer belt unit rated at 80,000 pages and the 43529407 fuser unit rated at 100,000 pages. Experience Tip: The transfer belt and fuser unit last through multiple drum and toner replacements, making them long-term maintenance items rather than frequent replacements.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know whether I need to replace the toner cartridge or the drum unit on my OKI MC860?
The OKI MC860 uses separate toner cartridges and drum units (44064033 to 44064036). Toner cartridges contain the powder used for printing and require frequent replacement, whereas each drum unit lasts up to 20,000 pages and transfers the toner onto paper. Replace the toner when ink density drops or warnings appear, and replace the drum only when prompted by page count warnings or drum lifespan alerts.
Do all four drum units on the OKI MC860 expire at the same time?
No, each colour drum (Black 44064036, Cyan 44064035, Magenta 44064034, Yellow 44064033) operates independently and tracks its own wear based on colour coverage. Because standard office printing uses significantly more Black, the Black drum typically reaches its 20,000-page limit earlier than the individual CMY drum units.
When should the 43449707 transfer belt unit and 43529407 fuser unit be replaced?
These high-capacity components have much longer lifespans than standard toner cartridges. The 43449707 transfer belt is rated for 80,000 pages, and the 43529407 fuser unit is rated for 100,000 pages. They only need to be ordered when your printer reaches those specific usage milestones.
