Canon SELPHY CP-100 Ink Cartridges
Your Canon SELPHY CP-100 printer uses the KP-108IN ink cartridge series, a compact portable dye-sublimation photo printer designed for snapshot photo prints. Ink Depot has been supplying authentic consumables for this printer since Jan 2004. Our 4.8 Google rating is built on dependable cartridge performance and uncompromising product quality. Selecting the larger KP-108IN multi-pack provides better value per print compared to the single KP-36IP cassette pack.
Expected photo print output and cassette life
Dye-sublimation photo cartridges operate on a fixed film roll mechanism, yielding a predictable count of postcard-sized prints per cassette under standard photo printing conditions.
Selecting the right print pack for your SELPHY
Occasional snapshot printing is easily handled with the KP-36IP cassette pack. For frequent photo projects or event printing, opting for the larger KP-108IN pack delivers maximum print count and better overall value. All genuine Canon print packs include ink film ribbon and postcard paper sheets. We dispatch quickly from warehouse locations in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide. Free delivery applies on all orders over $99. View our complete range of Canon ink cartridges or check our returns policy for peace of mind.
Pro Tip for Canon SELPHY Cartridges
Always load the ink ribbon cassette alongside the specific photo paper pack provided in the same box, as the dye-sublimation ribbon is precisely metered to run out at the exact same print count as the bundled paper sheets.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does dye-sublimation ink differ from traditional inkjet photo cartridges?
Unlike liquid inkjet cartridges, SELPHY cartridges use a solid ink ribbon film. Heat transfers exact colour layers onto dedicated snapshot paper, creating dry, glossy, long-lasting photos immediately upon print completion.
Does colour imbalance affect how long a SELPHY ink cassette lasts?
No. Unlike liquid ink cartridges, the film ribbon advances by one full photo panel for every print regardless of image content. This ensures predictable page output irrespective of photo colour saturation.
Can I purchase ink ribbon cartridges separately from photo paper?
Genuine Canon SELPHY cartridges are supplied exclusively as complete photo sets containing both ink ribbon cassettes and matching paper sheets to ensure perfectly matched ink-to-paper ratios.
