Expected page output and replacement cycles
Page yield for BCI-3eBK ink cartridges is measured using ISO/IEC 24711 standard testing procedures for inkjet printing under continuous document printing conditions. Actual yield varies depending on page coverage, document density, print settings, and frequency of printer use.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use BCI-3eBK cartridges in printers that previously used BCI-3 cartridges?
Yes, the BCI-3eBK is an enhanced Black ink cartridge designed as an upgraded replacement for the older BCI-3 black cartridge, offering complete physical fit and full functional compatibility with the Canon S450 printer.
How does ink depletion affect printing when using single-colour BCI-3eBK cartridges?
The BCI-3eBK cartridge operates as an individual Black ink reservoir. Replacing only the depleted Black cartridge prevents ink wastage and allows continuous document printing without replacing unaffected colour tanks.
How long can a BCI-3eBK compatible cartridge remain sealed before installation?
Unopened compatible BCI-3eBK cartridges typically have a shelf life of up to 24 months when stored in a cool, dry environment away from direct sunlight, maintaining reliable print output upon installation.
