Epson T41V, T41M & T41L UltraChrome XD2 Ink Cartridges

Understanding UltraChrome XD2 cartridge capacities and output

Epson UltraChrome XD2 ink cartridges are measured by fluid volume rather than standard page counts, conforming to ISO/IEC 24711 testing for archival pigment systems. Choosing larger 350ml or 700ml cartridges significantly lowers the running cost per millilitre during extended CAD line drawing or GIS mapping runs.

Capacity selection and fast dispatch options

If you print technical line drawings occasionally, standard 110ml cartridges keep initial outlay lower. For ongoing CAD, rendering, and poster production, 350ml and 700ml cartridges provide substantial per-millilitre savings. We stock genuine Epson ink cartridges shipped directly from distribution centres in Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide for quick delivery. Free delivery applies on all orders over $99. Every purchase is protected under our standard returns policy.

Pro Tip

Avoid mixing different capacity sizes (such as 110ml and 700ml) arbitrarily if your plotter runs unattended batch jobs. Maintaining equal capacity across Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black ensures predictable ink depletion cycles, preventing mid-job holds during large-format plan runs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I mix different cartridge sizes like T41V (110ml) and T41L (700ml) in the same printer?

Yes, Epson SureColor T-series plotters accept any combination of T41V, T41M, and T41L cartridges simultaneously across individual colour slots without causing operational errors.

Do UltraChrome XD2 pigment inks dry out if the wide-format printer is left idle?

UltraChrome XD2 pigment ink formulation resists clogging, but running automated head maintenance cycles bi-weekly maintains printhead nozzles when printing volume is low.

Are UltraChrome XD2 ink cartridges suitable for outdoor technical plan display?

Yes, UltraChrome XD2 pigment inks provide high water and smudge resistance on compatible coated media, making technical drawings durable for short-term outdoor site use.

Is T41L500 the same as C13T41L500?

Yes, C13T41L500 is the full Epson part number for the T41L Black 700ml cartridge; both terms refer to the exact same genuine product.
